Happy Monday, friends! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed our whirlwind adventure visiting family. We got back home yesterday afternoon and as tradition dictates, found our elf, Star, had arrived! With that we are officially feeling the cozy Christmas spirit. Today I am working on getting through all the laundry and house reorganization. Maybe math and some grammar, too, as we have this last full week before transitioning to “Christmas school.” More on that though in an upcoming post I’ve been noodling around…
I’m going to recap our Thanksgiving week tomorrow because today I’m still getting my feet back under me. I did meal plan yesterday and hit up the grocery store though. A restocked fridge feels so good and always makes me feel grateful. I made burger bowls for dinner. This one was a little all over the place- roasted golden potatoes and broccoli, the burger, kraut, pickles, tomatoes, red onion, microgreens, mustard and ketchup. The kids and David ate theirs on a bun; it was delicious for all.
Did you snag any good deals over Black Friday and the weekend? I did! I’m not one to shop for shopping sake, but I do keep a running list of items I want/need so when a good deal arises, I’m ready to pounce. I have a list I composed of products I enjoy to share with you today in case you’ve been waiting for a sale on any of these items.
These are items listed are items I have, use, and appreciate, so if you have any questions about any of them, fire away! I hope you find them helpful and thank you for shopping from my links when it works for you. It does help support this site and my family.

Amazon – I am consistently adding to my gift guides and favorites on my Amazon Storefront, so check there for all deals and recommendations, as I have a whole list dedicated to Cyber Monday and will only be adding items I have or am going to purchase. I know if I’m going to spend my money on something, I want it to be personally vouched for! Here are a few favorites from today’s sale:
- Fabric Dresser – 42% off – The right size and style I was looking for to give Kaitlyn more drawers in her room to help better organize her clothes, which are usually all shoved into a single drawer or under her bed.
- Instant Dutch Oven – this price is cheaper than the Costco offering right now! I love this thing; check out my review here.
- The Complete Cookbook for Young Chefs – Under $7 for the hard cover – this and the baking version are my kids FAV cookbooks. Lots of pictures, easy to follow directions, great for the budding chef.
- OSMO Genius Starter Kit for iPad – 63% off – I owe you a full write up on this product as my kids have enjoyed this kit and the coding kit (also on sale) for the past two years now and still pull it out to play with.
- My favorite leggings with the side pocket – 30% off – I own three pairs of these; they hold you in without feeling restrictive and are under $20.
- Flickering LED Taper Candles – 36% off – I know I’ve shared these incessantly but I LOVE THEM. I bought them for my mom, too, and the holders. They make the living room so cozy, look amazing, and would make a great gift.
Ok, I’ll stop there, but I will keep adding deals I find here. I hope your week starts off on a high note. After a week of decadent food, lots of red wine, and limited exercise, I’m feeling the healthy vibes something fierce. I credit the Wellness Mama podcast I listened to on the ride home yesterday for motivating me to take my vitamins, get some sunlight, and do a sauna blanket session today. Hoping you and yours are well; thank you for stopping by today 🙂
