Check out these 15 delicious and healthy meal ideas that are husband and child-approved for when you hit that inevitable meal planning rut.
I finally figured out a photo organization system that works for me. ::cue the angels:: Considering the mass amount of pictures I take on a weekly basis, that’s no small feat. Among these, I have a folder of meal pictures that I consistently add dinners (and sometimes other meals) I’ve snapped pictures of and for which I don’t yet have a set purpose. I scrolled through the other day when I was in a meal planning rut and realized how grateful I am to have an online resource in which I keep a large number of weekly meal plans and also healthy dinner ideas to reference.
So with that over explanation, I hope these 15 healthy meal ideas can offer some inspiration for those inevitable times when we all hit a what’s for dinner? rut.

Also, I owe you a grocery budget update! I’ve been experimenting the past 2-3 months with a monthly budget instead of a weekly and it’s making a difference in our overall total. It includes some store-hopping (Bj’s, Aldi, Whole Foods), but since it’s done on a monthly basis instead of a weekly, it’s manageable. My CSA starts next week too so I’m interested in seeing how that switches things up. Stay tuned!
YAY SPRING FOOD!

These are some of my absolute favorite posts! I always get such awesome meal ideas from you. Your paleo sausage bake (amongst others) is on regular rotation in our house.

We’re having the sausage veggie bake tonight!

Can you please please share your photo organization system and what platforms you use? Also, any info about the easiest way to get off your phone and then organized. I have struggled so hard with this! Just tried Amazon prime photo storage and I find it slow. Anyway, this would be super helpful info (at least for me!) 🙂

Yes I can do that, ,I just need to figure out the best way to describe it! In short, we use dropbox and an external hard drive (plus I make Mixbook albums each year) to organize our pictures by year, month, then event. It makes them easy to find and accessible from all our computers and phones!

Love these recipes – thanks! We were grilling out quite a bit, but now the weather has turned cold and windy, so Cincinnati-style chili is on our menu for tonight. I usually scroll through my Pinterest boards to find food inspiration, but I get easily distracted there…

Now I’m curious what Cincinnati style chili is! I do love the occasional cold snap though, just because it warrants a switch up in menu 🙂
Nadia says
Created by the Greeks, of course! “Cincinnati-style chili is a Mediterranean-spiced meat sauce used as a topping for spaghetti (a “two-way”) or hot dogs (“coneys”), both dishes developed by Greek-Macedonian immigrant restaurateurs in the 1920s. Ingredients include ground beef, stock, tomato paste, cinnamon, other Mediterranean spices.”

We made these while doing the Whole 30 last month and they were awesome! We used green peppers and didn’t make the Chipotle sauce that went with them, but they were great without it.

We made Greek burgers the other night (A meal you posted) and loved it! I actually made my son mini meatballs instead of a hamburger patty and he loved it! I actually prefer the meatballs over the patty, they fit so well in a pita with all the yummy toppings!
I made teriyaki chicken thighs last week which was also really good – I found a paleo teriyaki sauce recipe (used honey instead of white sugar) and baked the chicken in that, we gobbled it up served with simple cauli rice!
I’ve also made an Asian inspired tuna salad which is really good! I just add a small dash of sesame oil, sriracha, and sesame seeds to my mayo mixture, its really good!
One last meal I’ve been putting on repeat is chicken fajitas. I just slice peppers, onions, and chicken breast – coat with a homemade fajita seasoning (keep out the sugar) and bake at 375 for about 45-60 minutes. So simple, easy and versatile! We serve them in tortillas, over nachos or just right out of the pan w/ yummy toppings!

Oh I love the idea of the Asian-inspired tuna salad! I always make mine the same way and why I like it a lot, the switch up sounds delicious. Thanks!
Oh and yes, you can never go wrong with fajitas!!

I feel like I am in a meal planning rut every other week – ha! This is hugely helpful.
We made a sweet potato, brussel sprout and egg hash last week that was soooo good. I need to figure out how to make a quick version of it though because it took almost an hour.
