Let’s jump right in…
Breakfast
A quick breakfast was possible, thanks to eggs I had boiled the day before. 1/2 Thomas’ whole wheat bagel, topped with a small tomato, a sliced boiled egg and 1/4 cup 2% cheese. Stuck under the broiler for about 30 seconds.

WOG
Two days in a row? Ye-ah shawdy. I’m loving this Couch to 10k. Yesterday (Week 4 Day 2) consisted on running for 2 minutes and walking for 3 for a total of 52 minutes. They day before was 62 minutes. I like that it is getting me used to being out for longer periods of time. And it has me feeling strong! Love it.
Dinner
Romaine, carrots, celery, green pepper, onion, tomato, 2 Tbsp bleu cheese crumbles, baked chicken, Texas Pete Wing Sauce… drizzled with (about 3 Tbsp) ranch 🙂

1460? HA! I blew by that. I told you guys it would be a little trial and error. It turns out ‘they’ know what they are talking about. I’m going to add in 500 extra calories to account for breastfeeding, making my new total 1960 calories to aim for.
I think on days I do my wog (it averages 60 minutes long), I might be hungrier, so I’ll eat more if I am.
Like I’ve said before, I’d like these 6lbs (or as of this morning, 5.5lbs!) to come off, but not at the expense of my baby’s food supply or my sanity. So here’s to sticking with eating healthy and letting my body do it’s thang.
Have a fantastic Thanksgiving and safe travels to all those traveling in planes, trains and automobiles… and if you haven’t seen that move, check it out- it’s a classic. Right Hubbs? 😉

I love that breakfast that you had. Look so delicious.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and enjoy the day (healthy). 🙂

Yeah, I was wondering how you were going to do with the whole 1460 thing – 1460 is not a lot, and I don’t know how some people don’t eat very many calories. This girl need fuel to keep going! I’d say you’re doing the right thing – just focusing on howw your body feels and not depriving it of food if you’re hungry!

Such great eats! And that picture of your second snack is sooo cute! 😀
Lindsay @ The Lean Green Bean says
that picture of pup is priceless!
Holly says
I like your breakfast idea!
My guess is your last snack of the day is what did in the calorie count.
Heather says
I think this looks great! Overall a healthy day with realistic choices. You can definitely drop those last few lbs eating just under 2000 cals while bfing and wogging.
I’m totally making that quinoa/black bean salad today.
Tiff @ Love Sweat and Beers says
Great eats! By the way, that’s such a cute pic. Since it’s a peppermint Clif bar, I immediately thought of the little kids in The Grinch with the peppermint sticks under their hands in bed. Adorable!
Brittany says
Aw, I know exactly what you’re talking about! Makes me smile 🙂
Gina @ Running to the Kitchen says
It’s crazy to see the pictures of your meals (which are all super healthy and delicious looking) and realize it adds up to over 2000 calories! I would’ve never thought that if I just looked at the pictures without the nutritional stats. It looks like a very healthy day so I think adding those 500 calories definitely makes sense. Love the Hailey & Koda pictures 🙂
Sabrina says
looks great! I think the new amount is realistic. Congrats on having so little left to lose- youre doing great!
Carolyn @ Eat.Live.Be Well says
I like your attitude!
You definitely need your sanity and milk for your growing baby.
AND… your eats are healthy, so you can’t really go wrong there.
Brooklyn @ Veggie Table says
Happy Thanksgiving to your family of four 🙂
Heather @ Side of Sneakers says
I wouldn’t worry too much about exact calorie counts this early on just because your metabolism is going to change so much over these few weeks: your losing extra fat stores you saved up for baby, and you’re going to quickly be rebuilding muscle as you get more active again. That doesn’t even include the whole breastfeeding part. 😉 1960 sounds WAY better than 1460 for you though.
Heather @ Side of Sneakers says
You’re not your. Ahhh I hate grammar typos!
Brittany says
I hope these fats stores start melting away… or else I’m going to give Santa a run for his money with the whole ‘belly shaking like a big bowl of jelly’ thing 😉
Sarah says
Mmmm, I love Clif Bars! AND apple cake! I’m going to have to try your recipe…as soon as I get the urge to bake again :-).
Debbie (Accidently Delish) says
ok so at first when i saw the pup picture i thought it couldn’t get cuter.
then i saw the baby picture. so cute <3
sweetie if you're breast feeding don't worry about your calories.
your body will adjust on its own! make sure you get the nutrients your beautiful baby needs!
Maria says
Ahh, the Hailey pic just made me laugh. I could watch babies sleep all day long!
We are planning to watch Planes, Trains, and Automobiles tonight. It’s one of my husbands favorites, as well!
Kristin @ eat healthy. be happy. live well. says
I always let my pup lick the spoon too 🙂
Jessica says
Looks like a day of good eats!
Mary @ Bites and Bliss says
Calories are definitely a trial and error thing. According to fitness calculators, I should be getting close to 2500 to maintain my weight..but I gain so quickly when I actually do eat that much! It’s taken a lot of yo-yo weight changes to finally figure out how much I should be eating.
Jill @ Just Focus Well says
Loved the reference to Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Such a great movie!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving 🙂
Michaela says
I kinda saw that coming 😀
But you are right with eating when you are hungry!
Have a great Thanksgiving 🙂
Jen@FoodFamilyFitness says
Oh my delicious! I want to eat every single meal you have posted!!! So good 🙂
Liz @ IHeartVegetables says
Yay for a little extra fuel! And all of those meals look delicious! I want that quinoa bowl!
