It’s true what they say- first trimester symptoms start to make a return during the late third trimester. I find myself a little queasy at time and drawn to starchy carbs and fruits over fat and protein. I’m eating small meals more regularly because sitting down to a large meal does not sound appealing. Just another sign that we’re in the final stretch! (I know I say this a lot, but it’s more so to keep me going mentally than to inform you that I am, indeed, getting close to the end.. or should I say, the beginning!)

I was actually surprised by the low totals. I think the return of queasiness has me eating less without realizing it.
Also, I’ve noticed my everyday eggs haven’t been making an appearance lately. I’ve been more up for fruit and carbs. And mexican hasn’t even sounded very appealing. WhO aM i?!?
What is the tastiest fruit you’ve been enjoying lately?
Organic cherries have tasted amazing to me!
Bethany @ One Girl's Taste On Life says
I’ve been loving the peaches lately, though I haven’t picked up any fruit in a few days and I’m dyin’ ova he-a’! Those cherries look DELISH and I’m thinking I’m gonna have to get some s-o-o-n. 🙂
Holly @ The Runny Egg says
I totally agree with you about cherries — I wish they weren’t so pricey but they taste so good!

I’m all over fresh peaches this time of year, yummmm 🙂
Lovely eats but i did miss your eggs, lol!
Tiff @ Love, Sweat, and Beers says
I really enjoy quinoa with stir fry. I haven’t tried those little pretzel thins yet though. I like pretzels, so maybe I’ll pick some up at the store this weekend.
Brittany says
Beware… those pretzel crisps are addicting! I imagine even more so if you pair them with a cold beer 🙂
Jenny says
Still watermelon for me! So refreshing and yummy. Your lopsided belly is too funny! Garrett used to do that all the time. Getting so close can’t wait to meet Baby D!
Jen says
I love the lopsided belly pictures! I have never seen that before. It’s too funny!

I’ve been looking for some good real fruit bars. Would love to know where you buy yours?
As for the fruit question, I’ve been enjoying honeydew lately as well as strawberry-banana-yogurt smoothies.
Brittany says
At my local Harris Teeter. I think there may be added sugars in the ones I got, though because they are super yummy, so you may want to check out labels and compare 🙂
Sarah says
Mmm.. your meals today look so good to me- especially breakfast (all that fresh fruit!). I’m loving mangos right now. I’ve been able to find some perfectly ripe ones- heaven!
Maria says
I agree – cherries are so so good right now. I love all the seasonal fruit, but I’m ready for fall – pumpkin and clementines and crisp air.

Quinoa and teriyaki veggies look delicious! I love the lopsided picture – too cute! I discovered fresh organic cherries the other day while grocery shopping…they were on sale so I tried them – in love!!!!!!!!!!! I’m thinking about removing the pits and freezing them – don’t want them to go away so soon!
Brittany says
I got them on sale, too- SCORE! Do you use a cherry pitter? I think I need one because freezing sounds like a great option!
Jenny (Fit Girl Foodie) says
I’ve been munching on lots of strawberries, I love them 😀

I love the juicy apple I bough. You take a bite and then first need to suck out all the juice before attempting to chew on it. So yummy.
You look fantastic and such great eats. Love the fruit bar you had after dinner. Can you post how you made it please?
