2 years ago today I was busy getting dolled up at a spa in the north Georgia mountains.
Back at the resort, I put on a long white, lacy dress
and felt like I saw my dad for the first time ever.
I grabbed a bouquet of flowers,
and with these girls by my side,
I walked down a long path arm in arm with my dad.
To meet this man.
We joined hands and exchanged meaningful words.
And sealed it with a kiss.
We spent some time walking around the property and snapping photos,
before indulging in a decadent cake.
We were surrounded by so many friends and dear family… and we all cut a rug.
I even was serenaded by a fabulous group of guys. I loved it.
We shared a few more dances,
and before I knew it, the magical day and night were over. We were whisked away on a small boat as husband and wife.
Or I could have just told you the cliché, shorter version, that 2 years ago today I married my best friend.
Do you believe in happily ever after?
I do. 🙂
