Good morning everyone! I’m happy to report we had a great night last night. We got a 4 hour stretch of sleep, followed by 2.5… plus 1 more hour, so I’m blogging a little later than usual. I’ve even gotten in a shower and am feeling great!

Hi everyone! I’m Christina from Hungry Meets Healthy. I’m honored to say that our dear friend Brittany asked me to write a guest post for her as she anticipates Baby D’s arrival. I am so excited for her to receive one of life’s most precious gifts and am so glad that I could help out. I have been blown away by her persistence and dedication to maintaining her healthy lifestyle while pregnant and hope that I can mimic her same outlook when I’m ready to have children. So, my new friends, in case you haven’t been to my blog, you may not know that I am a huge lover of Chick-fil-A. Obsessed might actually be a better adjective. You might be wondering, “Huh? A healthy living blogger obsessed with a restaurant based on fried chicken and french fries?” Yup, it’s true, but I almost always opt for the healthy options. Here are some of my favorite healthy options from Chick-fil-A:
Chargrilled Chicken Sandwich:
This item clocks in at 390 cals, 4g of fat, 3g of fiber, 9g of sugar, and 29g of protein. Don’t forget to add extra pickles!
Southwest Chargrilled Salad with Light Italian dressing:
Salad stats: 240 cals, 9g of fat, 5g of fiber, 6g of sugar, and 26g of protein. I use the Light Italian salad dressing which clocks in at (per tbsp.): 15 cals, .5g of fat, and 2g of sugar. The salad has a kick! Wash it down with my favorite (!!) Chick-fil-A beverage…
Diet Lemonade. I am utterly obsessed with this drink. I’ll often stop in just for a large!
The stats for a medium: 20 cals, 2g of sugar.
Of course their waffle fries are delicious, but a better side option is their fruit cup filled with mandarin oranges, grapes, apples, and strawberries.
A medium-sized cup clocks in at 70 cals, 2g of fiber, 14g of sugar, and 1g of protein.
If you’re like me, and often crave something sweet after a meal, the IceDream vanilla ice cream cone isn’t a bad idea either!
This tempting and delicious cone clocks in at 170 cals, 4g of fat, 25g of sugar, and 5g of protein. That’s relatively low fat for a dessert! 🙂

But the best yet is when I travelled over 700 miles with a sandwich for my friend who lives in NYC. I’m telling you, she appreciated the cold sandwich. (And my cookies.)

Soooo now you know how bad I am.

OMG. We’re like Chick-fil-A obsessed twins. I’m from NY, but lived in FL for 2 years. Enough time to discover my true love for the delicious fast food. When we moved back to NY a couple of years ago, I’ve been going through serious withdrawl! Anytime we cross the NJ border, I’m on the lookout for a Chick-fil-A sign. Doesn’t matter where we’re going or when it is, if I see that sign, I’m there!
Chargrilled chicken sandwich + waffle fries + fruit cup = HEAVEN!

Mmmmmmmm, Ice Dream!!!! I think it may be one of my favorite cold treats on the planet. I also love the Souhwest Chicken salad and the Chargrilled Sandwich. And I always would get very excited to see chicken nuggets at parties growing up. Oh yeah, and Diet Lemonade. So much goodness to love. I also love Chick-fil-A, especially the Southwest Chargrilled Salad. But instead of dressing, I use their salsa on my salad. It adds a little more spice without a bunch of extra calories!

I am a new Chilk-fil-A obsessor! They just opened one up about 15-20 mins from my house and I must say, that is my new weekend lunch while I run errands. I get that sandwich but with a Hi-C..I know, sugar, but I love them together! And a num, num cone 🙂

I <3 them because they always mail coupons for free chicken sandwiches and since I am signed up for their text alerts sometimes they have "show this text for one free sandwich until 7 pm tonight" or "buy anything- get it free"- so I could buy a sandwich, drink and fries and get double the order! LOVE IT

As for Chick-fil-A, I love it. I still remember it as the place where I was trying to have a meal and some wi-fi and Justin Bieber walked in. I didn’t care though, as I had no idea who this silly kid was that people were mobbing.

I used to love Chik-Fil-A. I havent eaten there in a long time just because I dont eat fast food anymore – but just an fyi, much of their chicken is seasoned with MSG. Not good. I didnt spot it in the list of their Chargrilled sandwich, but the original chicken sandwich along with the nuggets have it as one of the top ingredients. You would not have been allowed in to the NYU Chik-Fil-A – it’s the dorm food court – not a public restaurant.
