Today is supposed to be our last semi-warm day before the highs dip into the 50’s so I’ve already given myself full permission to deck the halls this weekend and I. AM. PSYCHED. No big plans otherwise, but I’m considering hitting up the farmers market so things may get wild. On that note, here are some other things I’m loving lately…
The Simplified Planner
I know most people have a planner they adore and I’m no different. I’m a big fan of the from Emily Ley. This is my third year using it and I love the new pineapple design. I’ve already gone through and marked down all family and friend birthdays in my favorite pen – squee!
Does anyone else start off with impeccable handwriting with a new planner? I sure do, but I know it’s only a matter of time before I’m back to scribbling all over it.
If you aren’t familiar with Thrive Market yet, it’s an amazing online marketplace with serious discounts on a ton of health-focused items. There is even an entire tab focused on moms with discounts on everything from 7th Generation Wipes to Earth’s Best Organic formula to Pirate’s Booty. Not a mom? No problem. They have a ton of healthy food, pets, beauty products and loads more with great discounts to check out.
Babies in Boots
I used Robeez shoes for the girls when they were little, as they are soft-soled and work well for babies, but I didn’t realize they had a variety of boots through until Robeez offered to send me a pair.
I adore them on Kaitlyn.
I’m not as much of a convenience food lover as I once was, but I’m hooked on Tasty Bite. Well, more so I’m hooked on Indian food in general. I’ve made it at home with varying degrees of success, but I’ve been keeping a couple of these pouches on hand for when the craving hits.
Hailey’s self motivation for reading and writing.
It’s a little tedious sounding out every word we see and our car trips anywhere consist of a consistent stream of “how do you spell ____” as she scribbles furiously in her notebook, but I love seeing the joy she is getting from it.
Wasn’t she just a baby?! All the tears.
On to baby Kaitlyn (which if you look closely is written on the blue piece of paper above). I wonder how long until she’s sick of us calling her Baby Kaitlyn? Hopefully never.
I love sharing great baby products with you when I run across them and I have to tell you about Little Chomps Mealtime Smock. It’s perfect for those interested in baby led weaning (find my ebook on sale here!)
Creator (and mom to a three year old and one year old) Bree sent me one to try and it’s been saving Kaitlyn’s outfits ever since. I usually strip Kaitlyn down for messier/dipping meals, but this machine-washable, soft smock is easy to slip on and has been such a time saver! Don’t moms make the best inventors of baby products?
And speaking on products by moms, I’m convinced a mother invented wine.
La Crema Chardonnay
I’m not usually a white wine kind of gal, but this chardonnay is one of the best I’ve had. I’m no sommelier by a loooong shot, but I give it two tired mom’s thumbs up.
Now for a few things I’ve found in internet land that I’m loving…
This post from Lindsay on when blogging gets hard. It’s a great read for fellow bloggers but much of what she says can also be applied to life in general.
Nashville fans: if you’re wondering why Scarlett really cut all her hair off, check this out. All the feels.
This device aimed to help keep young women safe. I know it would make me feel more safe in certain situations.
This post from Jen about finding her creative confidence.
So bummed to see Caitlin say goodbye but excited for her new adventures!
This list of 65 travel experiences you have to have while you’re alive. I’ve done 3. I guess I better get on it!
Your turn!
What are you loving lately?

Loving feeling good again and going for a long bike ride today under a sunny sky!

I also love reds, but I wouldn’t pass up a glass of Chardonnay or Riesling. How great is it to talk about wine on an early Friday afternoon – or morning on your side of the world?!? 😉
That smock looks like it would be a great investment for us. But then again – if you have time – is there anything more adorable than your baby covered in curry or tomato sauce?

I’m in love with my planner, too! Lately I’ve been loving big scarfs.

I LOVE my simplified planner! My 2016 is wrapped up for under the tree – it’s taking a lot of self-control not to rip it open and start marking it up, haha!

What am I loving lately – YOUR BLOG! I started working full time recently and one of my favorite parts of my weekday is stopping to take a break and read your blog. Although I still get disappointed every Wednesday, eventually I’ll remember that’s your off day 🙂

My office swapped the pumpkin spice k cup rack for Eggnog k cups this morning – that is definitely permission! Although not sure I approve of the switch in terms of my preference 🙂
