Hey y’all! I hope my US friends had a great Thanksgiving with friends and family. I spent the day with lots of family, eating plenty of good food.
My Nannie gave all her great grand baby girls baby dolls and they were a huge hit!
I wanted to stop by today and share some great Black Friday deals, until I realized I know nothing about where the good deals are to be found. My email inbox tells me that GAP is having 50% off everything today with the BLKFRIDAY code, but other than that, I’m no help.
Instead, I am taking my buddy Julie up on her survey tag and participating the the ‘FOUR’ survey that has been going around. I love a good survey, so let’s get crackin’…
Four names that people call me other than my real name:
- Mom/Mama/Mommy
- Britt
- Babe (you’d think this would be David, but actually it’s my mom)
- Sister (because I always called my bro, Brother)
Four jobs I’ve had:
- Ice cream scooper extraordinaire at Baskin Robbins
- Classifieds/Advertising Manager at The Red & Black
- Assistant Media Buyer at Mindshare Atlanta
- Health Coach/Nutrition Company Owner
*And several more in between- quite the eclectic resume, no?
Four movies I’ve watched more than once:
- Love Actually
- Christmas Vacation
- Father of the Bride
- Frozen
Four books I’d recommend:
Four places I’ve lived
- Kennesaw, GA
- Athens, GA
- Atlanta (Buckhead), GA
- Charlotte, NC
Four places I’ve visited:
- Munich, Germany
- Whistler, Canada
- Skiing out west (all over)
- The BVIs
*More ‘travel’ here
Four places I’d rather be right now:
I’m pretty happy where I am right now, spending time with family, so I’ll use this as a chance to chat about trips I want to take!
- The Pacific West Coast
- The Greek Isles
- New Zealand
- Niue (for the whales!)
Four things I prefer not to eat:
- Beets
- Liver
- Catfish
- I really can’t think of anything else right now.
Four of my favorite foods:
- Goat cheese
- Salsa (with chips, eggs, anything)
- Pasta del mar with spicy marinara
- does wine count?
Four TV shows I watch:
- Nashville
- Game of Thrones
- The Middle
- Last Man Standing
Four things I’m looking forward to this year:
- Seeing Hailey’s face on Christmas morning
- Stacy’s bachelorette party in Nashville
- Holiday themed gatherings/parties
- Making the house feel festive and cozy
Four things I’m always saying:
- Gentle, Hailey, she’s just a baby
- I love you!
- So what time do you think you’ll be home?
- Mmm, that sounds good!
Four people I tag to answer these questions:
But let’s be real, I want to tag all of you, so pick a question and answer it!
Happy Friday friends- have a great weekend!

Looks like you had an awesome Thanksgiving! I think I enjoy the idea of all the good food on Thanksgiving day more than I actually enjoy eating all the good food. There’s just never enough room.
Love Actually is on my list of movies that I’ve watched more than once. It’s a holiday tradition to watch this every December with my husband.
