Isn’t looking at your credit card statement interesting? Seeing where our money goes says so much about us. In a more micro sense- isn’t seeing what someone bought on Amazon just as interesting? I am a sucker for when someone rounds up their favorite purchases. Not only are they fun to look at, they are really helpful for me. I’ve found some great finds from those kinds of posts so, I’m going to give it a try myself. Even though I will warn you- this is quite the random assortment of purchases…
These are all items I have bought, kept, and used often.
Cuisinart Food Processor – I bought this last week and have already used it more in 7 days than I used my old, beat up processor over the past year. When I shared it on Instagram, I received multiple messages from people saying they have had the same one for years and love it. I get why; it’s so powerful and a great size! I finally see why some people say their food processor is their favorite kitchen gadget. This machine is fabulous!
Nose plugs – David is rolling his eyes hard at this one, but I don’t care. We sold our boat and joined a boat club so we now have access to more powerful boats. That means we can go tubing and wake boarding! While that’s a ton of fun, the learning process has proven to result in lake water being shoved up my nose with a fierce force. Since I have an irrational fear of amoeba, the girls and I will be wearing these gems from now on.
Disposable kid masks – Disclaimer: this is not a mask debate. Here in North Carolina there is a mask mandate. While I don’t usually take my kids anywhere that requires one, when we were at Oak Island with friends we went to an outdoor restaurant that required them for walking in. I snagged this box of 50 and now just leave them in the car for whenever the need may arise. The girls say they are super comfy and they loop over their ears.
Sonic facial cleansing brush – I used a Clarisonic for years. I loved it. I still do honestly, but what I don’t love is feeling like I could never quite get the brush head or the unit under the brush head clean enough. I saw a friend had this silicone brush and decided to give it a try because my skin does better when washed with a gentle exfoliation. When I first received it, I wasn’t sold on it, but now I’m hooked. It stays super clean and the angled tip cleanses the pores by my nose so well. It’s easy to use and gives me that deep clean feeling on my whole face!
Wellness pills – I just restocked on these, my favorite natural medicine cabinet staple. I like to keep them on hand at all times because at the first sign of a sniffle or a scratchy throat, I start taking them and they usually knock it right out!
Cozy, seamless, wire-free bra – This is the only bra I wear now. Ever since I had that scare with the lump under my arm and had to get a mammogram (turns out it was an annoyed lymph node that my underwire was pushing on), I’ve lived in these bras. They are ridiculously comfortable and I still feel supported. I high recommend them.
Foot file – I can’t tell you the last time I had a pedicure. February maybe? I haven’t missed much about them to be honest, except for how soft my feet felt after. I attribute that feeling mostly to the file they use so a month ago I snagged this one of Amazon and was thrilled at how well it does the trick! After a bath, I use this, then cover my feet in coconut oil and socks. Like a baby’s behind…!
Handheld vacuum – You might have seen this purchase on here before. It was a Christmas present from David several years back. Before you give him the side eye, let me assure it is one of my favorite gifts ever. We use this daily. It’s easy enough to the girls to use and it’s powerful. It’s a must have in any house with kids!
Beach casual kimono/cover up (pattern 8) – Did I see Molly try this on in her Instastories and immediately go buy it myself? Why yes, yes I did. I’m short (5’1″) and it brushes the floor on me, making it a super cute bathing suit cover up when paired with denim shorts. It’s so pretty!
Share with me- what’s the best thing you’ve bought on Amazon lately?!

I came back to this post to check out the sonic scrubber you recommended and the link is dead. Can you refresh it? I enjoy your blog and need to replace my Clarisonic too. Thanks!!

Ah thanks for the heads up! Yes I still use it daily. While I really liked the bristle/brush feel of the clarisonic, I think the cleanliness of the sonic makes it a solid better choice in my book.
I just checked and my exact one by Luxio is not available anymore. From what I can see, this one looks most similar: https://amzn.to/3m6uMGE
