I hope everyone has had a fabulous 4th of July weekend! Although mine started off with a little scare on Friday…
everything turned out ok! We spent 3 hours in the hospital Friday afternoon because I thought my water was leaking. Good news= it wasn’t! But I was having mini-contractions. After monitoring them for a while and giving my some IV fluids, nothing changed, so they decided just to send me home, mini contractions and all.
They are so small that I can’t even feel them, and the doctor didn’t seem concerned, so I guess it just begins our final countdown until Baby D’s arrival. They monitored Baby D though and say that I have a very happy, healthy and active baby. Maybe they were buttering me up (it worked! ;)) because they said Baby D seemed more like a 40 week baby instead of a 30 week. I was a proud mom-to-be!
In other fun news, we attended a huge 4th of July event at our local YMCA and got to see a baby tiger, a camel, snack, kangaroo and lots of other fun stuff, too before heading out onto the lake to watch fireworks.
This morning started off with a fabulous breakfast treat of Banana Walnut pancakes, a trip to Lowe’s and an afternoon full of projects 🙂
Be back tomorrow with an exciting ORGANIZATION post to share!
What’s the most fun thing you did this weekend??
