Thank you all so much for your well wishes yesterday. After peaking at 101, I took some Tylenol, which broke my fever and I finally started on the road to recovery! I’m realllllly hoping that’s the end of it so I can get out and watch all the crazy spring breakers! And you were right…
#1 If you’re going to be sick, it’s nice to do so from a beautiful location, when you have nothing to do and extra hands to help with the baby. It’s all abut perspective.
#2 This spring, TCBY is launching frozen GREEK yogurt. Is that incredibly exciting or what?! Fro-Yo Goes Greek! It will have twice the protein and then will be suitable to eat as a meal… right?
#3 Coconut oil DOES make a great moisturizer! Especially on roughed up feet.
It’s also all the rage right now to use in cooking because of it’s health benefits including possibly aiding in the prevention and cure (?) of Alzheimer’s Disease. I just need to learn ways to use it so we don’t have to eat it straight from the jar.
#4 Dehydration is the number one trigger for daytime fatigue. So don’t forget to DRINK UP, especially as the weather warms up.
And on that note, I’m off to finally enjoy some of this beautiful weather!
What’s on your agenda for the weekend?

Ben & Jerry’s has also come out with a Greek frozen yogurt. I haven’t tried it yet, but I saw it on their website (yes, that’s right … I look at the Ben & Jerry’s website on a regular basis haha!). 😉

I use coconut oil for all cooking and baking basically. Its great in stir fry’s (especially with fresh lime and cilantro), sautéd veggies, putting a T in a smoothie or in oatmeal, putting a t in homemade lara bars/nut bars/granola bars, 2 T in a pot when popping stovetop popcorn etc. I hope that gives you a few ideas!

Thanks for the reminder of drinking water, on the days I have a lot to drink, I’m not exhausted, but the days where I drink more diet coke than water, by 2pm, I’m barely awake and it hurts to keep my eyes open.
Hope you are feeling much better today!

I agree with you, being good hydrated is the key even in Winter months. Did/do you struggle to keep hydrated with water in the cold months?
