Thrive market is an online retailer selling healthy foods at wholesale prices. Yep! You heard me right. I, too, was skeptical at first, but I’ve actually found that it really is that much cheaper. Farm Foods is a meat delivery service, and they most likely have every meat you’re looking for. They have beef, pork, chicken, seafood, elk, and lamb. I love Farm Foods because you can read about the farm that the meat you pick is coming from, which makes it a little more personal for me! An awesome perk of Farm Foods is that delivery is FREE. You do, however, have to order a minimum of 10 pounds. Like most other delivery services, it ships straight to your door in a dry ice container that keeps for up to 12 hours.
Farm foods is much like a grocery store where you put the meat you want in your cart and checkout. They have some specialty items as well like paleo sandwich bread and chocolate chip cookies! 

Butcher Box

If you’ve been following me for some time, you already know I can’t stop raving out about my Berkey Filter – read my full review HERE. Clean water is so important for your families health – we use it for absolutely everything from coffee, tea, soups, and more. Aquasana

Aquasana is another at-home water filtration system we use. They do it all; from drinking water filters, shower filters, whole house filters, and more. Before I get into the options, let’s talk about why clean water is essential. Although SOME chemicals are taken out of tap and well water, there are still 91 water contaminants that the EPA regulates. Some of these include lead, copper, sulfate, nitrates, pesticides, herbicides, to name a few. Aquasana filters remove contaminants, and adds nothing, leaving you with clean and contaminant-free water. We bought it because we are on a community well system and we have hard water, but we didn’t like the idea of increasing our salt intake through a traditional softener and they have a salt-free softener that takes no maintenence!

Here are some options to consider:
Countertop pitcher or dispenser filter, this is a great option. They run at around $129, and you still get great tasting water without all the installation.
Under Sink filters are a great option if you don’t want to take up the fridge or counter space. You’ll be able to use this water for cooking and drinking and decrease your contaminant consumption. There are a plethora of options that range from $200-$400. The ‘RO’ (Reverse Osmosis) system is excellent!
Whole House Systems are great if you’re looking to invest in exceptional water. My family has the 1,000,000 Gallon Rhino installed in our house, and we love it! My husband was able to install it himself in about 2 hours, and said it wasn’t too complex. These filters run from around $1,200-$5,000. Redoing your entire home will ensure clean water while you drink, shower, cook, and do laundry – a water softener can even improve the lifespan of your appliances!
