Happy Friday!! It got here quickly, right? Well, even if it didn’t, it’s here now! In honor of the weekend, I started my morning off with a delicious, veggie-packed Egg-stravaganza! And boy, was it goooood.
I started off with a Flatout Wrap (my last one… ::sniffle::), topped it with spinach, a sprinkle of feta, one crumbled piece of nitrate-free bacon, and a sliced tomato.
Then in a non-stick pan (I have all stainless steel, but I have to have 1 nonstick for eggs or I’d never make ’em ;)). I dumped in some chopped green pepper and onion and let them soften up before cracking 3 egg whites into the mix. Then, into the wrap they went!
Then, to just send this dish into crazy mouth-party deliciousness, I added some Texas Pete on top (which is by far my favorite hot sauce). A big thanks to Ashley for reminding me how good hot sauce is on eggs!
It really was an awesome breakfast!
Now… can anyone guess the song that my title name is from? I’ll give you a hint…
I’m going to see him in concert tomorrow…
and I mentioned him yesterday….
YuP, it’s
Michael Buble!
My title is from his song, Everything, which was Hubbs’ and my first dance at our wedding. And I still get goosebumps when I listen to it.
One of my favorite things about weddings is hearing which song the couple chooses for their first dance, so my question to you today, what was your first dance song? And if you aren’t married, but had to choose today, which song would you choose?
I may or may not make an entire playlist off the songs you tell me 😉

So I finally broke down and broke a sweat with Jillian this morning… level 2! I wish there was a way I could remind myself of how good I feel after a workout on those days I’m dreading it…because afterwards I felt great! Shaky arms and all 🙂
Lunch was on the early side today, since Hubbs swung by home for lunch and I needed to refuel from Jillian. I tried out a new type of “thin”… Pepperidge Farm instead of Arnold. They seem to be a little thicker and heartier, which I like, and only 100 calories.
Loaded up on the PFT (Pepperidge Farms Thin)… spicy mustard, onions, spinach, a ultra thin slice of swiss and turkey. Served with 1/2 a grapefruit that was so sweet! And I just love the grapefruit color… I kind of want to find that in a nail polish!
After spending a few hours working on the computer (new project I’m working on that is typing-intensive!), I had to get away from the screen. So why not enjoy a snack too?
a handful of Kashi crackers with, again, only a tiny bit of this hummus. I actually think it’s a good thing that I’m not a big fan of the flavor… it keeps my portion size in check.
I also finished off the other 1/2 of the summerlicious grapefruit
I know I’ve said it before… but it is HOT as blazes outside right now. Bugger decided to try and find any relief she could… can you spot her?
“Mom, if we aren’t going swimming, can we please go back in the AC for now?”
Ok, Ok… I’ve procrastinated enough… time to get some more work done before Hubbs gets back home and we inevitably decide boating is more fun than working 😉
Keep the first dance songs coming! I’m totally making a new playlist with them… love the ones you’ve sent so far!

I was totally right… Boating > working. But first I grabbed a snack!
Ezekiel with a lil pb&co, banana and a drizzle of honey! Then I threw on my Georgia hat and we were off to explore the lake
Did you see those cows?!? We went all the way up lake Norman to the Catawba river… And we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. And just to prove it, there were cows in the water! I thought that was just crazy…
We barely beat the rain home and ran to the local tavern for a quick bite.
We split the spinach artichoke dip (for a dip that has such a healthy name, it sure is a greasy, delicious mess). And then I had the mussels for my entree. Mmm, I love mussels!… But these were a bit salty and I chugged my h2o.
I also had about half a miller lite on the boat, but I didn’t feel much like drinking and threw it out. Now it’s storming pretty heavily out, so Hubbs, bug and I are going to snuggle up and watch Duplicity. Hope it’s good. Night 😉

I love flatout too, I chop and cook chicken breast with onions and then spread Laughting Cow Cheese Light Swiss on the wrap its kind of like a chicken cheesesteak. Being a southern June bride, we danced our first dance to “Shameless” by Garth Brooks
