Do you ever get stuck eating the same thing so much (eggs) that you forget how delicious other breakfasts can be (oatmeal)?
Love Grown Foods Hot Oats in Strawberry Raspberry with diced strawberries and chia seeds.
I try to save the easy-to-make LOVE cups for when I’m in a hurry, and yesterday I was. Hailey and I gobbled breakfast then drove to Charlotte to meet my friend, Cindi, who generously offered to let me shop Costco with her.
I’m not a member, but wanted to pick up some party supplies for our Cinco de Derby party we are having Saturday (!!!). However, I couldn’t resist snagging a few items for the household.
1 POUND of Kerrygold butter for $12.99? DEAL. Especially since Harris Teeter doesn’t even sell it. Of course I snagged a mega-tub of Sabra and a flat of La Croix’s, too.
Leftovers make the best lunch. Heat and eat. Both were just as tasty the next day.
When Hailey went down to nap after lunch, I sipped apple cider vinegar and a La Croix while getting some work done.
This might be the first day ever that I haven’t had an afternoon snack. Either lunch was really filling or I was too excited to hear David would be home early and could come with me to the gym that I just forgot.
This never happens. I was giddy that David let me lead him though my current favorite AMRAP workout from Jen. Another one soon, please, Jen? David agreed it was a good one!
Afterwards, we took Hailey swimming. Again, she loved it.
She didn’t even mind that I forgot her suit.
Back home, we were all pretty tired. I snacked on an (unpictured) handful of almonds while I made a simple dinner. After another episode of Game of Thrones, we are now into season 2, we called it a night.
Mexican Quinoa Salad and grilled chicken.
Don’t forget that tomorrow will be another Munchkin Meals link up! I’d love to have you join in. Also, I’ll be on FOX News Rising again tomorrow during the 8:00am hour if you want to check it out. Oh, and thank you Jenn for hosting today’s WIAW linkup! 🙂
Have a great day!
