I hope everyone has had a fabulous 4th of July weekend! Although mine started off with a little scare on Friday…
everything turned out ok! We spent 3 hours in the hospital Friday afternoon because I thought my water was leaking. Good news= it wasn’t! But I was having mini-contractions. After monitoring them for a while and giving my some IV fluids, nothing changed, so they decided just to send me home, mini contractions and all.
They are so small that I can’t even feel them, and the doctor didn’t seem concerned, so I guess it just begins our final countdown until Baby D’s arrival. They monitored Baby D though and say that I have a very happy, healthy and active baby. Maybe they were buttering me up (it worked!
) because they said Baby D seemed more like a 40 week baby instead of a 30 week. I was a proud mom-to-be!
In other fun news, we attended a huge 4th of July event at our local YMCA and got to see a baby tiger, a camel, snack, kangaroo and lots of other fun stuff, too before heading out onto the lake to watch fireworks.
This morning started off with a fabulous breakfast treat of Banana Walnut pancakes, a trip to Lowe’s and an afternoon full of projects
Be back tomorrow with an exciting ORGANIZATION post to share!
What’s the most fun thing you did this weekend??

Wow. I’m so glad you are okay! Can’t wait to read your organization post – those things also kick me in the butt and I go on an organizational spree around my own place.
Today I’m heading to Napa for the day and then watching fireworks tonight as I stuff my face with ice cream – so the best is yet to come this weekend
