I’m thankful for the frustrations of dating long distance, the headaches of wedding planning
…and getting to live our day to day adventures together for the rest of our lives.
I’m thankful for stinky diapers, loud screaming cries
…and being lucky enough to stare at my baby girl and wonder who she looks more like.
I’m thankful for hours spent packing, long car rides
…and spending time making memories I’ll cherish forever.
I’m thankful for loud barks at the mailman, whining when she’s hungry
…and endless tail wags and licks when I get home.
I’m thankful for working around busy schedules and long emails trying to coordinate plans
…and wonderful friends.
I’m thankful for sore muscles and having to rush to try and cook dinner while tending to a needy baby
…and I’m so grateful for a healthy body and mind that allows me to be strong and active.
I’m thankful for funny looks when I pull out my camera in a nice restaurant, time spent editing photos in the wee hours of the morning
…and the opportunity to be able to connect with all of YOU.
There are so many people and things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving- this is just my short list.
I hope you have a wonderful turkey day with the ones you love!
