Well hello everyone 🙂 I think this may possibly be my latest blog post ever! I do have a good excuse though. Last night was my first night away from Hailey. I left her in good hands with her Nana
and her Papa John
while I spent some time catching up with these girls-
We had a wonderful time and I wish I got to see them all more often! However, I did make one mistake… I ordered a martini. New moms have no need to drink liquor, especially with red wine in the same night, too. It kicked my butt.
I did well being away from Hailey for the night (knowing she was in great hands helped!), but as soon as my eyes popped open at 5am (no hopes of sleeping in because my chest needed more than a pump- they need my baby!) I was so excited to go see and cuddle my little nugget. I was moving a little slow this morning, so by the time I gathered all of Hailey’s things it was time to hit the road. No time to blog! But now I’m back home and thinking how it will probably be a little while before I order another martini.
This isn’t much of a post, but I wanted to fill you in before you sent out search crews (haha, that sounds a little self important, huh? ;)). See you all tomorrow- I’m off to hydrate!

I had a half of a cosmo Friday night and my husband had to hold my hand so I wouldn’t fall over in my heels. Such a lightweight!
Sounds like fun and congrats on spending your first night away from her – I can’t imagine it being too easy!
