whoop whoop, Friday!!!
I’m super excited about this Friday because soon I’ll be in the car headed down to my folk’s place to enjoy a mini-family reunion weekend and Grandma Betty’s 90th birthday. Yes, 90 years! Go Grandma!
Beautiful, isn’t she?
To get the weekend off to a good start, I woke up at 6:30am to do my Couch to 5K training. I’m really loving the training because it’s keeping me on a schedule and keeping me accountable. Once I get my feet on the ground, I really enjoy it! ..but I’m not going to lie, when the alarm first goes off, I want to throw it across the room.
However, once I got back from the run, nothing sounded appetizing. So I decided to sip some water and wait a bit. Water didn’t help, and I was almost feeling nauseas, so I grabbed a mini-Gatorade out of the fridge. Alleluia! Gatorade worked a miracle and I was feeling better in no time. Was I dehydrated? Hungry? Either way, I was ready for breakfast…
No, I didn’t grab the wrong picture… I totally wasn’t feeling breakfast foods, so a turkey, spinach and tomato wrap was breakfast today. And it hit the spot 🙂
Then if was time to get my hair cut- it always makes me feel so fresh & so clean clean.
It’s just a short post this morning because I need to pack and hit the road… but stay tuned for pictures from the road and from Mom & Dad’s…. they live on a lake, too. What can I say? We’re water people 🙂
Do you ever eat lunch for breakfast??
********************************
A quick blog as we hit the road… We grabbed Jersey Mike’s for lunch and decided to split a turkey sub on wheat. We had them cut it 2/3 (for hubs) and 1/3 (for me) instead of 1/2 and 1/2.
We made it a meal with chips and sweet tea (for hubs) threw in a dollar off coupon and we ended up with lunch for two for $7! Not bad 🙂
And we’re off!!
Koda doesn’t like the car… She pouts the whole way… Poor pup!
We made it!!! And these are Grandmas Pretzels… Amazingly addicting!
Mom is making her famous margaritas and the good times have started. 🙂 more pics to come…
Mexican fiesta!

Cute hair cut!! And I often eat foods at the “wrong” times of day. Whatever sounds yummy I always say! 🙂

I very often eat the wrong foods at the wrong time of day, but lately all I want is berries mixed with greek yogurt and granola. I mean literally, its ALL I WANT.
And I agree with the above comment, she doesn’t look 90 at ALL. I would have guessed 60’s.
