Food Lion {GIVEAWAY}

Remember last week when I had a chance to participate in the Food Lion Blogger Cook Off?

Remember how I hinted at the fact I might have something to share with you guys?

Well, I do!

I was seriously shocked by some of the low prices of items we used in our challenge. Green peppers for $0.50; a potato for $0.79; a can of beans for $.50. Impressive.

Food Lion Blogger Cook Off- goodies

With prices like that, just imagine how much food you could buy for $100! Maybe that would buy you a week’s worth of groceries? Or fully stock your pantry?  Well, now you can find out.  Food Lion gave me a $100 gift card to Food Lion to giveaway to one of you!

Enter by leaving a comment telling me 2 pantry staples that you always must have on hand.

Contest will run through Wednesday, 9/19 at midnight and winner will be chosen at random and announced Thursday.

***Thursday will also be the picnic edition of Munchkin Meals, so please join in!***

    Flour and yeast! I’ve been making my own bread from scratch for almost a year now so we’ve been using a lot of flour and yeast!

    Two of my pantry staples are Quaker Oats and some sort of delicious, low-cal Kashi cereal! I’m big on whole wheat, whole grains, and breakfast foods. I’d be lying if I didn’t tell you that Chobani is also a must-have 😉

    Two pantry staples: many types of canned beans and oatmeal (for my husband, I don’t really like oats all that much!)

    Thanks for the giveaway!

    I always have olive oil and diced tomatoes! We go through olive oil like crazy here, want to try coconut oil soon though!

  5. Lynn Hammock says

    So many to choose from, but black beans and diced Italian tomatoes, because they are so versatile you can create a dozen of meals from those items.
