Mashed potatoes have never more simple to prepare! This easy version is creamy, flavorful and makes for a delicious side item for any day of the week!


  • 3 lbs golden potatoes
  • 3/4 c vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 c butter
  • 1/4 c sour cream
  • salt and pepper


  1. Quarter the potatoes and place them in the slow cooker.
  2. Add broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and butter to the slow cooker.
  3. Cook on high for 3 and 1/2 hours or on low for 6-7 hours.
  4. Using a masher, mash potatoes until smooth. Stir in sour cream and season with salt and pepper. Enjoy!
