A soft and chewy, basic and delicious chocolate chip cookie recipe.
Ingredients

2/3 c granulated sugar
2/3 c brown sugar
1 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
2 cup all purpose flour
2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment.
Beat the sugar and the butter together until creamy, about 3 minutes.
Add the eggs, and beat well, about another minute, then beat in the vanilla, salt, and baking soda.
While mixing, slowly add in the flour until well incorporated. Stir in the chocolate chips.
Drop Tablespoon sized dollops, two inches part, on the baking sheet and bake for 10 minute. After baking, while still warm, decorate with the monster eyes.
