Friday!!! Any big weekend plans? Shocker– we don’t. We had a fun night out planned for a friend’s birthday, but with no sitter and the majority of people frowning on leaving a dog in charge of the kids, we’re not going to make it. On the bright side, I think we might watch Chef. I’ve heard great things!
Ok, moving on to some things I’m loving lately…
Ginger Elizabeth Chocolates. A sweet (pun intended!) reader, Irina, mailed me an unused Medela bottle (the only kind Kaitlyn will drink from) and generously snuck this in the package as well. And holy moly is it delicious. The sweetness is subtle and doesn’t make my teeth ache. It is the perfect bar to have a satisfying few blocks of after the girls go down. Well, it was. It’s been gone for a few days now.
Fall Fashion. Yes, I’m working on making myself look more presentable, but I’m having a lot of fun with Hailey’s wardrobe. Little kid clothes are just so darn cute! And she’s still rocking the ‘Elsa’ braid.
Scour Off. For those that don’t know, I am a Shaklee rep (full disclosure for the win), but even if I wasn’t, I’d still buy this nontoxic scrubber paste.
It works on everything. Exhibit A: Before…
Kaitlyn. She’s going to give me a run for my money. She is all over the place and always headed towards the things she shouldn’t. Forget toys, this girl wants outlets, balloons, plastic bags and metal bars. Despite it possibly turning my hair gray, I dig her feistiness.
Leftovers. This busy week was brought to you by leftovers. Someone tell me why I don’t implore this tactic more often? Dinner is already ready? Brilliant!
Amazing Creams and Lotions. My friend Jaime gifted me a sample pack of these lotions and creams made from vegetable oils and butter, essential oils, herbs and more. After trying the Bee Delicious Body Cream yesterday, it was the first time in weeks my fingertips have not been dry and cracked (sorry for that visual!). I’m excited to try some of the other blends as well.
That about sums it up here!
What have you been loving lately?
