Do you know what happens when goat cheese is on sale? I end up having days like yesterday when I feel the need to incorporate it in almost everything I eat. I think one day I’ll actually be able to justify owning a goat because the cost would be lower…
Breakfast
Half of a Thomas’ Whole Wheat Bagel, topped with goat cheese, spinach and an egg.
Post-Pilates Snack
Chobani toes! I guess after a while I run out of new places to put my food to take pictures of it, and what’s more appetizing or shows off food better than putting it by my feet?! ::insert eye roll:: Still, the Chobani Black Cherry flavor and chia seeds were darn good.
Lunch
Spinach, lentils, roasted butternut squash and goat cheese. I saw this combo on Jen’s blog the other day and had it on my mind ever since. Yum… especially with extra goat cheese!
Afternoon Snackage
Toasted sourdough bread from the farmers market (a-mah-zing) topped with (what else?!) goat cheese and sliced granny smith apple.
Plus quite a few spoonfuls of Wild Squirrel pretzel pizazz, using celery as my spoon.
Dinner
I fixed an easy meal of slow cooker sausage and beans over brown rice, so we could get to the wine…
I mean, the painting! Jane Marie, Hubbs and I sipped on his homemade vino while we attacked the bedroom with paint brushes. I mentioned this on facebook the other day, and with your encouragement, decided to jump on this total bedroom makeover. Stay tuned for results!
PS- how amazingly nice is it of Jane Marie to come help paint? Virtual hug! It flew by with 3 pairs of helping hands.
How often do you makeover a room?
I don’t do it often because I have zero sense of design, but our bedroom and the office have been driving me crazy for a little while now, so… bring on the projects!
