Stopping by to share another weekly meal plan. If you need even more ideas, check out Laura’s meal plan link up!
Summer Vegetables with Quinoa Linguine and Goat Cheese (I’m making a few tweaks before posting the recipe)
Taco Slop with Tortilla Chips and Wholly Guacamole Mini Packs
(for some reason my slop turned out more liquidy that usual, so I ate it like soup. Still delicious!)
Fresh Mahi Tacos with Purple Cabbage and Avocado Salsa
The mahi was a gift from a friend whose husband just went deep sea fishing- amazing!
Homemade Pizza with Peppers, Onions and Applegate Farms Pepperoni
(is anyone sick of me taking pictures of my weekly pizzas? They are definitely a staple around here!)
And my favorite breakfast of the week…
Wheat tortilla, wholly guacamole, spinach, fresh tomato and a friend egg- delicious!
What’s on your menu this week?

Those mahi tacos look amazing!! We do Friday night pizza night as well! It’s one of my go to ways to sneak veggies into my toddler! 😉

Keep the pizza pictures! Always looks so good! We are debating whether to smoke some salmon or trout on the smoker for dinner with kale salad and orzo or to make homemade New England clam chowder to take advantage of the cooler weather today. We will see! For the week I am making firecracker chicken and Swedish meatballs and quinoa enchilada casserole from damn delicious.net 🙂 I’m adding chicken to the quinoa casserole since my hubby needs his meat.
Brittany Dixon says
Oh my gosh, can I come over for dinner?? Sounds amazing! I’ve heard people love that firecracker chicken. I need to give it a try!
Laura @ Mommy Run Fast says
Yum- mahi tacos! And I love the egg-avocado breakfast combo, in a wrap or over Ezekial bread… I can’t get enough. Just ate it again this morning! Thanks for linking up!

I’m sure it had nothinggggg to do with the fact that Hailey helped me prep it. Who knows what she added when my back was turned 😉

Hi Brittany,
I’ve really enjoyed reading through your meal plans! I think that meal planning should be in every home. Having a meal plan allows you to eat healthily, eliminate meal-time stress, reduce food waste and save money. I’ve actually developed a meal planner from my own research with families at my cookery school. You can find it at http://siansplan.com if you wish.
Thanks and Happy Cooking!

It’s very good to see this useful post on dog training.
I have a question though. How do you train a younger dog?
