Tomorrow is December! Are your presents all wrapped and under the tree? Mine sure aren’t. In fact, there isn’t even a tree yet. But I plan on taking care of that this weekend and turning our living room into this:
Oh those crazy Griswolds! Hubbs makes me watch this movie every year. It grows on you 🙂 Moving on…
Do you know a health nut that needs a gift this year? Or are you looking for ideas to send to Santa? Either way, here are some fun items I wouldn’t mind Jolly ‘Ol St. Nick shoving down the chimney for me this year 😉
1. Ipod Shuffle $45.00 : These little guys are under $50 and make the perfect running companion. They can hold up to about 240 songs, which is more than enough for an awesome playlist!
2. UnderArmour ColdGear Frosty Tights $49.99 : Yesterday Koda and I ventured out on a wog in the COLD. My oversized sweatshirt and yoga pants weren’t cutting it and made me realize that maybe it’s time to invest in some real cold weather running gear. These tights would be perfect! Santa, you want me to keep exercising through winter, right?
3. New Balance NBx Emmisive Long Sleeve Shirt $43.19 : See explanation above. Plus, doesn’t new exercise gear always make you want to get outside and use it?! Hope so 🙂
4. SodaStream Pure Sparkling Water Maker $149.95 : This fun little gadget from Williams Sonoma makes fresh sparkling water at home. Why do I want this? Because I love sparkling water! I love mixing it with POM juice for a delicious mocktail, or just squeezing in lime. Plus, it’s eco-friendly because I won’t be throwing away all those plastic bottles of empty soda water.
5. Potato Gloves $11.95 : because it really is difficult to scrub potatoes clean with a brush. These little gems from Williams Sonoma would help make sweet potato rounds so much easier to make!
6. Garmin Forerunner 110 $249.99 : This one is probably a bit pricy for Santa, so unless the elves can make a duplicate, I don’t mind waiting a bit for this one. It’s pretty cool though because this watch will record your time, distance and pace and review your training progress right on the watch! Sweet.
7. Subscription to Eating Well Magazine $14.97 : I love trying new recipes and find a lot of yummy ones from the Eating Well website. I’d love to get the magazine and be able to spend an leisurely hour going through it and ripping out new recipes to try! It’s the gift that keeps on giving… all year long 🙂
8. Burts Bees Naturally Nourishing Lotion $10 : Really, anything from Burts Bees will do. I love that they are all natural and smell delicious! Plus, I don’t have any fun lotions anymore. Back in the day I had a billion when it was cool to give gifts from Bath & Body Works, but I guess my surplus finally depleted. Burts Bees Please!
Your turn! What’s on your holiday health list??

All I want are the Insanity and TurboFire DVDs to use post baby. No joke. They have been on my wish list since July. LOL
Lisa @ I'm an Okie says
Awesome gifts!
I’m saving this for some ideas later!
Alexa @ The Girl In Chucks says
Those are some great ideas!
As for me, if you know, Santa showed up with an SLR, I wouldn’t like, shoo him away…

Great gifts! We’ve been looking in to a Wii Fit, although, I’m not sure it’s worth it since I have SO many exercise DVDs at home already. I would also love a Kitchen Aid mixer and spiralizer, a garmin, and new sneakers!
Samantha @ Health, Happiness & Skinny Jeans says
I like those Under Armour tights! I posted a few of my wishlist items but I’m sure if I thought about it I could think of a few more 🙂
Christina @ Food.Fun.Fabulous. says
Ooh I got a long sleeve shirt for running out in the cold but not pants! They’re on my list now!
Kristin says
Ooh, I love to page through Eating Well magazine, but can’t always find it…
I’d also love a fancy KitchenAid mixer with all the attachments and gizmos, and some new, matching pots and pans.
Maria @ Oh Healthy Day says
Can I just forward your list to Santa for me too?
I want a Vitamix or at least a blender that’s better that the one I have (which leaks like crazy). And a food processor so I can have banana soft serve.
Sarah @ The Smart Kitchen says
I want one of those sparkling water machines! I’ve been eyeing them for ages…I already subscribe to Eating Well, but I usually ask for my Cooking Light to be renewed.
Something perhaps not exactly healthy, but foodie-related, is Adam Richman’s book, America the Edible. I mean, I have to support the man I (for who knows what reason) love. 🙂
Corey @ the runner's cookie says
love these things! especially the garmin – i think santa is putting one under the tree for me 🙂

Good list! I didn’t know potato gloves existed, but I can see that they could be helpful.
Kitchen gadgets in general are fun gifts. Cooking at home is good for us and our wallets, so anything that facilitates that is great.
If Santa brought me some Vibram FiveFingers, I’d be happy to try them out.
A subscription to Runner’s World would be fun.
I would also love to get a good camera, but I don’t even know what to look for/how to choose. (advice welcome!)
Borders or Barnes & Noble gift cards are always welcome as well.
OK, maybe these last two are not what you’d consider “healthy” gifts, but things I would welcome and enjoy nonetheless. 🙂
Thank you for sharing these fun ideas!

I could use some long sleeve workout shirts, would love a garmin, and kitchen gadgets are always fun. I like your ideas; I might just send Santa your list from me. 😉

I would love a SodaStream! I became addicted to sparkly water when I was in Italy this past summer. Those potato gloves would also be excellent for grasping hot sweet potatoes when I have to scrape the flesh out for various recipes.

Great ideas! Subscription to Health Magazine (that is the name of it) 🙂
would be nice. Would love a personal trainer, but don’t think Santa will go for that idea!
