Goshhhhhhh, I’m behind again. Our little angel hit double digits on the 15th, turning 10 months old.
Everyday she is becoming more and more of a little person. Now that she is mobile (and quite the quick little crawler when she wants to be), diaper changes and putting on clothes is a challenge. She always wants to wiggle away and take off. If I don’t distract her with a toy, she can get pretty frustrated.
Luckily most of the time she’s a pretty happy girl. She is getting into everything now, though, so I have to watch her more closely.
She is starting to pull herself up and does a mean down dog. She’s realizing she can see more up on her knees.
Koda is one of her best friends. I’m so grateful that Koda is so innocuous.
She’s a great eater and downs 3 meals and sometimes a snack each day on top of her 4 nursing sessions. Now that she’s tried peanut butter, there isn’t much left she hasn’t sampled. Maybe shellfish. She hasn’t had shrimp yet, I guess. And she always goes for the brightly colored foods first. Tomatoes don’t stand a chance.
She is becoming more and more of a water baby. After crying the first few times we dunked her, she now doesn’t mind it at all.
Hailey continues to learn about the sounds her mouth can make. She repeats back dada and babbles many other sentences in her own language. She knows her name and knows the word no. I’m finding myself having to use it more and more!
She blows raspberries, clicks her tongue, whistles sometimes and makes the craziest faces.
One of my favorite tricks is when I just say YAYYYYYY and she’ll get a great big smile and start clapping her hands. Girl loves to clap. She also liked to stick her fingers in my mouth.
She uses her little pointer finger to explore the world. Whether it’s pointing as she reads books or poking Koda’s nose, she always uses her little pointer. It’s too cute.
She wears 9-12 month clothes and size 3 diapers. She sleeps 7-7 or 7:30 and naps 9-11 and 1:45-3:30ish.
Watching her grow everyday is such a joy. Even when I’m tired and faceplant on her bedroom carpet, she’ll scoot over and climb all over me and it never fails to make me laugh. I’m so grateful for these days with my sweet Hailey.
Guess I need to start thinking about a 1 year birthday party now, huh? How did that happen?!

OMG one of the things I’m most looking forward to about having kids is planning birthday parties!
I just threw my cat one last week I’m that much of a dork for them lol.

She is so, so precious! I cannot wait until W starts clapping.
Wyatt will not stay down for diaper or outfit changes at all either, and he tries to climb out of the bath tub. Crawling definitely makes things more challenging, but I LOVE this age! They’re so happy and adorable 🙂

Happy 10 months milestone to the both of you.
She is starting to look like a little girl now and less like a baby. And she looks so much like her mom.

Liv does the same thing with her pointer finger. It’s so cute watching her face get so serious when she is trying to poke or stick her finger in something!

How are our babies only two months away from their 1st birthday…ahhh, it goes too fast. I was looking at Kherie today and she was no longer really looking like a baby anymore 🙁 That being said, I LOVE how much more we can interact now, and I LOVE it how when we say “Yay” to her she claps also, so fun and cute!
