I loved hearing your suggestions yesterday on natural cold and sinus remedies. I found out a few new tricks I didn’t know and now I’m looking forward to finding grapefruit seed extract (Thanks, Lisa!).

I spent more time than I care to admit to curled up on the couch, and though I think I’m over the hump, I’m not back to 100% yet. However, I’m feeling good enough to get some things done and not continue my Gossip Girl episode marathon. Speaking of, the first Gossip Girl episode is just bizarre. There is even a different Eleanor Waldorf. WTF? (Well, that’s fantastic!)

I digress.

I also had plenty of time to let my mind wander about things I’m loving lately and wanted to share…

Our new antenna. You’re picturing bunny ears, aren’t you? Think again!

This compact, flat box that is easily concealed by curtains is bringing us all the major networks, plus a other random channels. Instead of having DVR, we bought a Roku Box (about $100). Roku lets us stream content through Netflix and HuluPlus. It feels good to have finally cut the cord with the cable company (well, DISH to be exact).  Old cost of monthly TV bill: around $70. New monthly cost: $16 (for HuluPlus and Netflix).

David and Hailey

Picture repeat, I know. Hailey was quite a little angel yesterday (if you discount the one screaming episode when I tried to put her down for a nap without her legs being swaddled… more on that next week). She played in her exersaucer and wiggled on her mat for quite a while. She even gave me an 1.5 hour nap in the afternoon! David managed to finish up work stuff a little early and took on full Hailey and dinner duty while I snoozed on the couch. That’s love.

New paint. When we first moved into our house 2 years ago, I was determined to jazz it up with COLOR. This led to me painting the master bedroom this color.

While I actually liked the color, I could never bring the whole room together, so 2 yeas later, I went back to neutral. It now looks like this:

Much more calming. Now I just need new bedside tables, lamps and art (to bring color into the room)…. any suggestions??

Chobani. Even though I didn’t indulge yesterday (no dairy for sinus reasons), I’ve been enjoying the box of Chobani’s new flavors that they sent me to try out!

Apple Cinnamon is hands down my new favorite. It’s incredible. Especially with some LOVE grown granola mixed in. The passion fruit has good flavor. The crunchy seeds take a little getting used to, but I love the authenticity that the seeds bring. Real passion fruit, people! And the blood orange, I think, is the most unique, and also yummy.

    We are at the same stage in swaddling, just around her body. I tried a nap without it yesterday and it was a no go! Swaddled her for another nap and she slept 2 hours. I swaddled my first around the body until like 8 months because of this. She was crawling but still wanted the swaddle. I figure it’s a good alternative to a loose blanket right now.

    I’d love to try the new apple cinnamon (with granola sprinkled on top). No wait – I wanna try the passion fruit. Changed my mind again – blood orange, please! With flavors that good – how can you choose?

    I’ve actually tried the apple cinnamon and the blood orange. Both are delicious, but apple cinnamon is by far my favorite! I would like to try the passion fruit but haven’t been able to get my hands on it!

    I want to try the Blood Orange! I’ve tried the apple cinnamon and it was pretty good, but I cannot find the blood orange or passion fruit anywhere.

    I would LOVE to try the Passion Fruit! I love seeds, passion, and fruits are my thing! Glad you are feeling better! Nettie pot does it very time. I also put Vick’s salve on my chest and tie a bandana around my neck (per my grandmother)! It stinks but it works….or at least I think it does.

    Ive tried all the new flavors, Chobani addict here! Apple cinnamon is my fave too. I actually drive to a few grocery stores for my chobani based on who has it on sale!

    Caden absolutely love the apple cinnamon but then again he likes all flavors including plain. We just had vanilla on top of his waffles this morning 🙂 I’m glad your feeling better!

    i’m so jealous of everybody who has gotten to try the new chobani flavors! i can’t find them at any grocery stores in the small town where i live, so i’d be THRILLED to try any of the new flavors!

    I would love to try the apple cinnamon! I have tried the passion fruit and you’re right–the crunchy seeds take some getting used to. They totally freaked me out at first!

    I just saw a DIY on Pinterest that might work. Take old brass lamps and spray paint the base a new color. A bright white would work well in that room.

    Ok I thought the apple cinnamon sounded weird, but after you and so many people have said it’s good, I’m sold and must try it now! I’ve tried the passion fruit and liked it.

    You’ve talked up the aplle cinnamon flavor so much I’m dieing to try it! And I have to remember to look for the Love Grown granola. My brain keeps forgetting!

    I’m very interested in the apple cinnamon b/c you and other bloggers have raved about it. But I just keeping thinking of the yoplait flavor I tried once years ago that was sickeningly sweet and not very good.

    The blood orange sounds the best to me though.

    I wonder if any flavor of chobani can compete with Pineapple – which is by far my favorite!

    I have never, ever tried greek yogurt of any kind. ekkk…I know! But, I want to…for some weird reason I am afraid it will be gross. I would like to try apple cinnamon because I do loooove dannon’s fruit on the bottom apple cinnamon and it would be great if I liked the greek version because it’s healthier than Dannon for sure.

    I really want to try the blood orange! I’ve been looking everywhere and actually found the other 2 new flavors today, but still no blood orange. I’m not usually an apple-cinnamon kind of person, and I like my Greek yogurt with some fat and that one is 0%, but I bought one to try since it’s been getting rave reviews on so many blogs.

    I would love to try the Passion Fruit! I’m on the journey to finding better breakfast options and have fallen in love with Chobani! The idea of the crunchy passion fruit seeds sounds awesome!

    Great post! Love the green paint in the bedroom but love the new colour even more. My living room is painted in with a similar colour scheme but our sofa is a very dark red which adds a nice splash of colour 🙂

    I <3 Chobani! I've actually already tried their new flavors and LOVE the blood orange – and I'm not even a fan of citrus! I gave my hubby the apple, so I'd love to have another for myself!

    I don’t need to enter the contest because I’m on a non-dairy diet (breast feeding). I just want to know more about the Roku box. Can you get the regular networks like abc and nbc? You still have to pay for internet service, right? Is it really that easy? 🙂

    I LOVE the Passion Fruit. It tastes totally delicious and different from all of the other flavors!! I LOVE mixing it with some barley and fresh fruit! YUM!(:
