Good morning! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Our weekend was full of sunshine and relaxation, but with a heavy heart. David’s grandfather, Ray Keithcart, also known as Grandpa K passed away on Friday. It was his 89th birthday. When 12:01 on April 6th arrived, his family sang him happy birthday and 15 minutes later, he went to be with the Lord.
Although I wish I would have had the chance to know him better, it was obvious from meeting him a handful of times and from the words people speak of him what a special man he was. He always had a sparkle in his eye and a smile on his face.
He had a playful personality, some might even dare to call him a bit of a flirt . He would always tell us his best advice was “just don’t get old”. And you have to admit, he was one handsome fellow!
Today we’re in Brunswick, Georgia celebrating the life of this wonderful man with the people that loved him most. We love you, Grandpa K!

I am so sorry for your loss. Grandpa’s are special people. I have lost both my grandfathers and miss them so much, especially the stories they used to tell.
The bittersweet side of losing someone is it really brings the family together, literally and emotionally. Will be thinking of your family today.
