I’d Be Lying if I Told You…

I’d be lying if I told you… that I didn’t feel at least a little bad about eating the last burrito yesterday knowing very well that it meant David would have to find something else for breakfast this morning.

make ahead burrito

Sorry babe.

I’d be lying if I told you… I loved laundry day.

laundry

I loathe it.

I’d be lying if I told you… that I didn’t pick each and every beet out of the gratin after taking this picture.

wiaw- gratin salad

I agree, Maria, they taste like dirt.

I’d be lying if I told you… that I’m an expert at pizza dough.

pizza dough

Pup proof that I can’t control flour.

pizza dough Koda

I’d be lying if I told you… that gratin salad (sans beets) filled me up.

blu star grill salmon

I love you, Blu Star Grill.

I’d be lying if I told you… that I have no clue how Hailey caught a cold.

dog lick

I’d be lying if I told you… that I didn’t spend a solid hour just watching these two play.

koda plays

I’d be lying if I told you… that I never hit up the salad bar for purposes other than salad.

salad bar pizza toppings

Hellooooo pizza topping heaven.

I’d be lying if I told you… that Hailey eventually changed out of jammies.

hailey toddles

Hey, it was laundry day.

I’d be lying if I told you… I only ate one handful of pumpkin seeds.

nature box pumpkin seeds

Nature box, you’re awesome.

nature box

I’d be lying if I told you… that I got any exercise in other than a slow, 1 mile obligatory #operationskinnydog stroll.

fall walk

Yes, she is shoe-less. No, she wasn’t cold.

I’d be lying if I told you… that pizza wasn’t the perfect dinner food.

salad and pizza

Of course it is.

I’d be lying if I told you… that everyone is packed and ready to go for Thanksgiving, that my house is spotless, that my computer isn’t on the fritz and that I I would never consider putting Bailey’s in  my morning coffee…. Winking smile

Here’s to a busy day! And thanks, Jenn, for hosting WIAW!

I use the salad bar sometimes for fajita night, too. It’s a cheap way to get lots of fixins’! :)
